Chapter 1. Introduction

RegistryOffice is database application used to store informations about physical documents, places where they are stored, provides connection between these documents and record of such document in the information system. Documents can be automaticly disposed or marked for disposal. Their life-time can be driven only by RegistryOffice or in connection with external system. Physical documents are usually organised in the document sets (batches) and these are placed inside the boxes. Using such organization is optional.
